Franco-Canadien, Pierre-Henri CHUET est un ancien pilote de chasse de l’aéronavale française. 
Il a grandi dans une famille aéronautique et a attrapé la passion tout petit. Le jour de ses 15 ans, il vole pour la première fois seul à bord… Devenant le plus jeune commandant de bord de France. Depuis, il a accumulé 18 années d’expérience aéronautique militaire et civile. Dans sa carrière, il a eu l’occasion de vivre d’incroyables expériences, en devenant notamment un pilote du Rafale ! Il compte plus de 2500 heures de vol et plus de 200 appontages sur Porte-Avion.

En 2018, il créait D.Brief, où il transcrit le savoir-faire aéronautique aux autres métiers et problématiques quotidiennes. (être pilote de son propre aéronef, gérer son énergie, autonome tout en maîtrisant le travail d’équipe…etc).
Aujourd’hui vous pouvez rencontrer « Até » CHUET lors d’une conférence ou même sur Youtube !!
Entre deux interventions, il partage son expérience et analyse les différentes actualités/évènements aéronautiques.

Jacques Bothelin, surnommé Speedy, né en 1954 à Cambrai, est un aviateur français spécialisé en spectacle d’acrobatie aérienne. Mais, il n’était pas prédisposé à ce parcours. Depuis son plus jeune âge, Jacques Bothelin est fasciné par le monde aéronautique. Malheureusement, suite à une visite médicale de l’armée, on lui déclare un problème de vue, le rendant inapte pour devenir pilote militaire. Mais c’était sans compter sa détermination dévorante, qui lui permettra de se former au métier de pilote, de réaliser ses premières heures dans un avion de voltige et finalement de devenir une légende. Il devient le PDG fondateur de la société Apache Aviation depuis 1981, avec plus de 12,000 heures de vol en acrobatie sur plus de 145 types d’appareils, pour plus de 3,000 démonstrations réalisées dans 40 pays et dont la patrouille acrobatique porte depuis 1981 successivement les noms de son sponsor du moment : Martini, Europe 1, Adecco, Khalifa et Breitling.

Un exemple de détermination et de travail que nous sommes fiers de compter parmi nos mentors.

Passionate about aviation from an early age (she was only 12 when she made her first flight), Virginie Guyot did everything she could to make her dream come true. At only 25 years old, this young fighter pilot became the first woman affected on the Mirage F1CR. Patrol leader at 29, then squadron commander, she was chosen by her peers in 2008, at only 31, to join the ranks of the Patrouille de France; she then became the first woman to join this prestigious unit. A year later, she took command and became the first woman in the world, and still the only one to this day, to lead a national aerobatic patrol.

This young woman leader of the French Patrol (2010) then joined the Air Force staff, and held positions of high responsibility, first in the field of executive training, then in the strategy of air force employment.

Virginie GUYOT had the honor of receiving the trophy "Gold Woman 2010" in the category "Woman of achievement".

It is in Bertrand Piccard's DNA to go beyond the obvious and achieve the impossible. Born into a legendary line of explorers who have conquered the stratosphere and the abyss, he has made history by accomplishing two aeronautical firsts, a non-stop round-the-world balloon flight and, more recently, a solar-powered plane without fuel.

A pioneer in his approach to ecology, he has been involved in the promotion of renewable energy and clean technologies since the early 2000s. Founder and President of the Solar Impulse Foundation,He has succeeded in his mission to select 1,000 effective solutions to protect the environment in a cost-effective manner. In a third world tour, he will present them to decision makers to help them achieve their environmental goals while ensuring clean economic growth. Bertrand Piccard is now a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador for the Environment and a Special Advisor to the European Commission.

Dorine BOURNETON, born on September 6, 1974 in Thiers, has been flying since she was very young thanks to her father who is an amateur pilot. She started flying solo at the age of 15. May 12, 1991 the light aircraft on which she was a passenger crashes. The only survivor, rescued after twelve hours of research, her serious injuries deprive her of the use of her legs for good. Despite this handicap, she decided to take over the controls of an airplane and then became involved in the professional disabled pilots in civil aviationWith the support of Gérard Feldzer, she created the Disabled Pilots Commission which will carry the project of a new regulation for the disabled. A considerable advance for future disabled pilots. It becomes the first paraplegic aerobatic pilot in the world in 2015.

Medal of the National Order of Merit, Medal of the National Order and the Legion of Honor, Dorine BOURNETON becomes an example for all, a godmother for many entities but also ... A street in Andrézieux-Bouthéon.

A true history lover, José MAIGRE holds a master's degree in history with a thesis on North Indochina in 1945. He is preparing a doctorate at the University of Paris VII. He is also a professor of literature at the Air Force technical school in Saintes after having taught for several years in the French South West and in Vendée.

A true aeronautics enthusiast, José MAIGRE est également l’auteur du livre « Les écuyers du ciels ».

Do we really need to introduce Thomas PESQUET?
 He was born in Rouen on February 27, 1978. After training as an aeronautical engineer in Toulouse, he held various positions in the aerospace industry, notably at the Centre national d'études spatiales (CNES) before becoming an airline pilot in 2005.
His career takes a higher dimension in , when he was one of the six candidates selected to form the third group of European astronauts selected by the European Space Agency (ESA).
He becomes the tenth Frenchman to go into space.
 
In , he became the first European assigned to a mission on board the Crew Dragon (mission Alpha, built by the American company SpaceX.

The , Thomas Pesquet embarks for the second time in his life to the International Space Station (ISS) and becomes the first French commander of the ISS.

“That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind”

Neil Alden Armstrong was born on August 5, 1930 in Wapakoneta, Ohio, USA. After obtaining a degree in aeronautics at Purdue University, his studies were interrupted in 1950 to perform his military service where he trained as a jet pilot. After graduation, he joined the NACA, the forerunner of NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration). He became a test pilot and made more than 900 flights to develop bombers and fighters. In 1962, he enters the NASA astronauts section.

He then made his first space flight in 1966 aboard Gemini 8 and was selected as commander of Apollo 11, the first mission to land on the moon on July 20, 1969. He then devoted himself to aerospace education for several American companies and was a member of the commissions of inquiry formed after the interruption of the Apollo 13 mission (1970) and the space shuttle Challenger accident (1986). He died on August 25, 2012 in Cincinnati.

Born into a family of French nobility on June 29, 1900, he spent a happy childhood despite the premature deaths of his father and brother. After failing the competitive examination for the Ecole Navale, he turned to fine arts and architecture. He became a pilot during his military service in 1922, and in 1926 he was hired by the Latécoère company (the future Aéropostale). At the same time, he became writer. Inspired by his experiences as an aviator, he published his first novels, notably Night Flight ("Vol de Nuit" in French) in 1931, which won the Prix Femina. From 1932, Saint-Exupéry devoted himself to journalism and air raids. He undertook major reports that would fuel his reflection on humanist values.Terre des hommes (Wind, Sand and Stars in English), published in 1939, received the Grand Prix du roman from the Académie française.

In 1939, he served in the French Air Force, assigned to an air reconnaissance squadron. At the armistice in June 1940, he left France for New York and became theone of the voices of the Resistance. He disappeared at sea with his plane, a Lockheed P-38 Lightning during its mission of . He was declared "dead for France". The , his plane was found and formally identified off the coast of Marseille.

The Litte Prince ("Le Petit Prince" in French), written during the Second World War, is illustrated with his watercolors, is published in 1943. This philosophical tale, imbued with both lightness and pessimism about human nature, very quickly became a huge worldwide success.
